CEO and founder of Point Mobile, SK Kang, won the 'Person of the Year' Award from the Korea Automatic Identification Industry Association (KAIIA) on December 21st, 2020. The association stated that Kang won the prize thanks to his great efforts to grow the business and continuous contribution to the AIDC industry by doing so, amidst the economic predicaments given in 2020. 

Last year, the number of total employees of the Korea based headquarters has increased more than 11%, and the company successfully accomplished its stock market listing. As of January 20th, 2021, Point Mobile has reached over $330 million market capitalization.
