UPS, one of the world’s top three logistics companies, is launching its next-generation logistics innovation project “SPSF” with an investment of 390 billion won.
The project combines RFID, AI, and digital twin technologies to enhance logistics innovation.
The goal is to maximize logistics efficiency by implementing “intelligent packages” that can report their own locations.
In this major project, Point Mobile, a leading Korean industrial mobile computer company, will supply its PM5 wearable scanner,
and Bixolon, an industrial printing solutions company, will provide its XM7-40R RFID label printer as key partners.
Their solutions will be deployed in 5,700 UPS Stores across the United States, supporting UPS’s smart logistics transformation.
